Sunset at Crystal Cove

A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to spend a few hours with a remarkable woman and her extraordinary family. Mrs. Gaeta was both of my oldest kid's kindergarten teacher and she finally cashed in on her Christmas Gift (from last year) of a free session and prints. It's hardly any payback for two years of dedicated service towards teaching my own and other kids so well, but it was a fun way meet her adorable family and spend some time together. We had a blast too! The kids were so well behaved and just as cute as could be in their striking fedoras. And we had a beautiful sunset to top everything off. It was so much fun! Sorry for the picture overload... I will need to drastically reduce the amount of pictures I blog if I am ever to catch up!

Siggard Family

Well, my awesome brother "B" and his tres chic wife "S" and their gorgeous baby "X" snagged my second mini session at the beach. This was "X's" first trip to the beach, and I think he was not too sure about it at first, but then I think it grew on him. He was all cool with it until I tried to put him in my sissy girly baby buggy. Then it was all over. But there was such an awesome sunset in the background that I just couldn't help sharing just one of those. It was "S'" very cool idea to do the "shoe shot." I quite liked it. And have you ever seen a baby with such beautiful blue eyes! Hope you like the pictures guys...

I had to include this one cause I thought the parents might get a laugh from his expression!

They've got this cool frame picked out for the shots with the beanies...

Beach Baby... and Co.

Isn't she just the cutest thing you've ever seen? Well, if you've been following along for a while, you've seen her before as a 2 month old here.... She was pretty cute then, and she's only gotten cuter over time. And she and her equally gorgeous parents were my first of several"mini sessions" this season. At this point, I sure hope I will be able to post the others by the new year! I don't have much time for posting when I am this busy shooting. But I am sure to play catchup after the holidays!
Well, enough excuses for being a bad blogger. I had such a good time with these guys, in spite of the grey gloomy weather. We captured quite a few images in 30 minutes and you can't go too wrong when you have such beautiful subjects to work with. Enjoy your gallery guys!
