Autumn portrait session

I had a great time with the "R" family at the beach last Saturday. We weren't sure the weather would hold for us, but since it hadn't rained yet, we decided to try our luck. Of course, as luck would have it, within 5 minutes of getting out and starting the session the rain started coming down (you can see it in the picture of dad holding his cute little boy). So we hunkered down under the overhang of the cliff and a couple of scrubby trees and waited out the "storm." Fortunately it cleared up quickly and became a beautiful afternoon for pictures. This beautiful, growing family was a joy to capture - the boys were so well behaved and you could see the lovely relationship they all shared. I think they had almost as good of a time as I did.
