The Fabulous Fosters
All right, I am interrupting my schedule of posts from sessions past to bring you a session from this last weekend. The Fabulous Foster family drove all the way down from Murrieta, my old stomping grounds, to get their portraits made. They liked the post of the "B"eautiful in black family so much that they changed not only their wardrobe selection, but also the beach! It was really fun to see them again and we all had a great time. I hadn't really seen them since I was teaching Lauren almost 6 years ago now how to ride horses. My how time flies. Thanks so much guys for a great time and a wonderful session. We'll have to get together again sometime!

A Belated Merry Christmas
I was planning on posting a beautiful blog entry on Christmas day, elegantly expressing my feelings about my favorite holiday of the year and maybe posting a couple of beautiful pictures of gorgeous ornaments on our nearly perfect tree this year. Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures of my beautiful tree until Christmas Eve, at which point it didn't look quite so beautiful - it was dry and dead. (I really do think it was probably our prettiest tree ever, though!). And here it is 4 days after Christmas and I am still just playing catch up on blog posts from this fall. So at this point I am going to just keep trucking along, and make Resolution to not let myself get so behind next year so that I can make a beautiful post next Christmas!
For now, enjoy the "M" family - a beautiful family new to Southern California. I hope that you enjoyed your holiday here! I promise to post again soon!

The "B"eautiful Family
I couldn't have asked for a better looking family to round out a great day of mini sessions last month! They are just gorgeous, every last one of them. A big thanks to Maxim's family (the boy with the great animal drawings, seen in October on this blog) for referring them! Their cards turned out so beautiful, and I have really enjoyed getting to know the "B" family. And while most people opt to wear white at the beach, or think that black is too "dreary" for the holidays, I think you will agree that they look great in black - a very classic yet nice casual look, I think.
