Desert Wedding

As I was driving out to Kurt and Andie's wedding last Saturday in Indio, I couldn't help but think to myself, "Who in the world would choose to get married out in this barren wasteland of a desert in 100+ degree heat?" Well, my heart was greatly cheered when I found myself at the Corona Yacht Club. It was still hot, but it was like a beautiful oasis in the middle of the desert.
And then I had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful bride, Andie and her charming six year old daughter who reminded me so much of my own 6-year old - and all of my misgivings melted away. What a beautiful new family! I was honored to be a part of your special day and really enjoyed getting to know all of you. I have to say that I love traditional weddings with flower girls and outdoor marriages and stuff like that. Really cute family and pictures!
